PC Tattletale Tells All

6StarReviews tested a number of different parental Internet control products. PC Tattletale is one of the products we tested. The results of our experience with PC Tattletale are outlined below.

What's New?
  • PC Tattletale pricing allows installation on two separate computers with each purchase.
  • Full-featured 7-day demo version allows you to try the product before you buy it.
  • PC Tattletale is now offering "competitive upgrades" that allow people who have purchased under-performing parental Internet control software to switch over to PC Tattletale at a reduced price.

User Interface and Product Application:
The Installation of PC Tattletale was a bit more complicated than we usually like to see. Because the software tracks activity and transmits data, some anti-virus programs block the download and interfere with installation. We had to temporarily deactivate our antivirus protection to install and use the product. Once downloaded and installed, the product is fairly easy to use and it may very well be the "big guns" of parental Internet control software.

6StarReviews Favorite Feature:
Not only does this product perform keystroke logging as well as chat room and IM monitoring, but it also takes actual screen shots of your child's Internet activity.

PC Tattletale Features:

  • Monitoring and reporting of chat room and email activities.
  • Monitoring and reporting of Internet activities.
  • Keylogger recording.
  • Screen shot captures.
  • The program is able to operate in "stealth" mode.
  • Filtering of restricted websites.
  • Blocking of restricted content.
