Genealogy Today Family Trees

We weren't awestruck by the Genealogy Today online genealogy service, but we did like some things like their audio podcasts, war ration indexes, funeral cards and criminal records. Many of their services are sponsored and provided by other family tree sites, like Ancestry, so pricing relies on outside sources.

We didn’t have too much trouble navigating the site, as it was pretty straightforward. However, finding pricing and contact information wasn’t the easiest.
  • Adoption Articles -If you were adopted or know someone who was adopted, you will appreciate these.
  • WWII Ration Book Index, Criminal Records, Funeral Cards

6Star Reviews definitely noticed the unique and groundbreaking offerings that Genealogy Today offers site visitors. While most cannot be accessed unless you sign up for paid membership, it's nice to know the option is there if needed. We admired how self explanatory and user-friendly their website interface was with clearly categorized research tools, guides, and features clearly marked.

Prices vary by product and service, but there is a family tree CD-rom for sale at $24.95. Customer support is great via email, but not so memorable by way of telephone or FAQs. They receive 4.0 Stars!
